This year’s Made in America lineup might be the deepest one yet

Jay-Z went the extra yard with the 2018 Made in America lineup. There are a number of heavy hitters and a few unheralded acts well worth catching when the 7th annual event returns to the Ben Franklin Parkway on Saturday and Sunday.

Kendrick Lamar is the latest artist to be added to Made In America’s set list. On Monday, it was announced that the LA native will be taking the stage during the weekend to perform a “very special set.” Kendrick will perform at the festival fresh off of the TDE Championship tour — which ran through the United States during May and June.

The Jay Z-curated Made in America Festival will return to Philadelphia on Labor Day weekend with Nicki Minaj, Post Malone and Meek Mill slated to headline.
The two-day fest, taking place September 1st and 2nd at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, also features Janelle Monae, Diplo, Zedd, Miguel, Alessia Cara, Fat Joe and 6lack.
Now in its seventh year, the 2018 festival boasts Belly, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich The Kid, Jessie Reyez, Lil B, Gunna, Juice WRLD, BlocBoy JB, SOB x RBE and more acts.
Made in America hosting competition to choose festival’s food vendors
Made in America, the Jay-Z curated two-day music festival and staple of Labor Day weekend in Philadelphia, is hosting a culinary competition at The Fillmore on Sunday, July 29.
Over 60 candidates will compete to win a coveted spot as a food vendor at this year’s festival.
Pusha T, 6ix9ine, Daniel Caesar & Lil Skies Added to 2018 Made in America Festival
On Tuesday (Aug. 7), Live Nation revealed that Pusha T, 6ix9ine, Daniel Caesar and Lil Skies were added to the 2018 Made in America Festival bill. For Pusha T, the G.O.O.D. Music president is currently in the running for album of the year with his seven-track opus, DAYTONA. On the other side of the spectrum, 6ix9ine has bloomed into a recurring hit-maker with his bevy of hits, including his latest single “FEFE,” which currently sits No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Scheduled for Sept. 1 and Sept. 2, Nicki Minaj and Post Malone have been billed as the weekend’s headliners. Alongside Minaj and Malone, Meek Mill, Diplo, Miguel, Janelle Monáe, Alessia Cara and more will perform at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Aside from the established acts, budding stars such as Jessie Reyez, Juice WRLD, BlocBoy JB and Saweetie will also be gracing the stage as well.
